The month of June is quickly approaching ... which means that we need new ideas for a book (or books) of the month. Anyone have any ideas? Feel free to email them to me or leave them in the comments. If I don't hear from anyone, I will think of something ... but I would love some suggestions (hint, hint). May was a great month for our little book club! Good job everyone!
Cheers!

I recently read "When Crickets Cry" by Charles Martin. It was great and I think it could be a good selection.
I'm also a sucker for Jane Austen, although I know her novels are almost used too much for book clubs. "Persuasion" is a good one; most people don't know the story and I think it's entertaining.
If you want to keep going the easy reading route, the "Uglies" series by Scott Westerfeld (classified as Young Adult science fiction) is also quite thought-provoking and fun.
I finally got a copy of The Host. When I finish I'll be able to read everyone's posts about it! Love it so far!
I really don't have any good suggestions, the books I read for fun these days are by Dr. Suess, or they have a lot of pictures in them with a few words. I'm just eager to start reading again. What about some of the classics? Dante's Inferno, CS Lewis Screw Tape Letters, or something along those lines? Really I am game for anything...I jsut want to get started sooner than later, I am going nuts trying to find a good book to read to keep me awake while I am up at night feeding the baby.
